Everything behind the wall and on it
Avant designs, wires and installs the low-voltage side of a home or a business — the network, the screens, the speakers, the lighting control and the cameras — and then supports it.

The old Avant website listed nine services. This one lists 10. Security cameras and video doorbells were already part of the work: the Google Business Profile carries the closed-circuit television category, the old contact page asked about surveillance, and reviewers describe cameras installed around their property and set up on their phones. So they have their own page now.
Most jobs use more than one service. A TV over a fireplace needs a cable path and often a network drop; a Control4 system needs the Wi-Fi to reach the keypads and the screens; a camera at the gate needs fiber to get back to the house. Justin Slaughter plans those pieces together, which is why the list below is grouped by where each one sits in a job rather than alphabetically.
He doesn’t just install equipment—he thinks through how everything should work together and makes the technology feel effortless.
01 · Plan it
Before a cable is pulled, someone has to decide what each room is for.

02 · Wire it
The part of the work that ends up behind the drywall and has to be right the first time.

03 · Use it
What the people in the house actually touch, watch and listen to.

- Audio-Visual & Home TheaterMounted TVs, surround sound, a theater room, Sonos through the house.
- Smart Home IntegrationControl4 for lights, climate and entertainment, new or added to.
- Automated Lighting ControlScenes and schedules on a lighting panel, for homes and commercial spaces.
- Security Cameras & Video DoorbellsCameras at the eaves, a doorbell at the front door, and the app on your phone.
04 · Keep it running
A system is only as good as the call you can make when something stops working.

Questions about the services
What is the difference between low-voltage and electrical work?
Electrical work is the household power: panels, circuits and outlets. Low-voltage work is the cable that carries data, audio, video and control signals — network, speaker, camera and keypad wiring — and that is the side of the house Avant designs and installs.
Which service do I need?
Start with what you want the room or the building to do. A consultation sorts that into the right mix — often a TV and audio job also needs cabling and Wi-Fi — and the design shows it before anything is installed.
Can one company handle the AV, network, cameras and lighting?
Yes. All ten services on this page are Avant’s own work, and one Google reviewer’s house has AV, a home theater, lighting, pool wiring, networking and AI cameras on a single system.
Do you do commercial work?
Yes. Lighting control is designed for commercial spaces as well as homes, the old Avant site names businesses among its customers, and a church is among the Google reviews.
